Contemporary Garden

About...

The brief here was to create a contemporary garden that would look good all year round from inside the house whilst fitting with the client’s modern taste and also providing the children with space to play.

A sunken seating area was built up in the natural dip within the garden to catch the evening sun and brighten a dark corner. Rendered walls were painted off white and a regular granite paver was used to keep the lines clean. These lines will be softened by the lush planting that will establish over the years.

Bespoke brushed stainless steel tubes were positioned within the planting to add something slightly different and give year round interest to the view from the house.

When it comes to garden design Scotland projects can incorporate a number of materials, and we love the combination of granite and stainless steel here.
