Design Process

We take a cooperative approach, developing the design concept together with our clients, tailoring the service according to their taste, needs and budget. During an initial free consultation on site we will give you a verbal outline of possible ways to design your garden. We will cover how you may plan to use the space, budgets, timescales and other practicalities.

Our full design consultancy can include all or part of the following elements:

• Site survey and development of a design concept
• Detailed written design proposal
• Full cost breakdown including design fees
• Visual drawings and mood boards, including (CAD) computer generated visual images
• List of plant species & visual references for the planting plan
• Lighting plans
• Construction drawings
• Fixed quotation for all elements
• Full specifications and preparation planting plan.

Once a design is finalised and a timescale is agreed, Brown Earth then provides the complete project management service.
